WaterBoy Well Buckets are designed like old-fashioned metal bailer buckets, but made for years of continuous use — not just emergencies. The unique thumb-lever at the bucket top prevents water contamination and simplifies use.  Getting water from your drilled well without electricity is now easy with WaterBoy tripod kits.  Or, to pull your well yourself, consider the WaterBoy Windlass — serious equipment for the sophisticated prepper. With our quality Made in Missouri products, you get peace of mind, supplying your family with fresh water for drinking, bathing, laundering, watering and survival. You need no special equipment or power of any sort.

ARE YOU PREPARED? Can you get water out of your well when the power goes off — AND STAYS OFF?  See also our new website for the hand pump machine at waterbuckpump.com

Our mission is to enable anyone with a drilled well to be more self-sufficient in an extended power outage or living off the grid.

Solar and hand pumps are good to have, but if something breaks and parts aren't readily available, how will you get water? WaterBoy windlasses and well buckets are ready for action without electricity, solar power, batteries or any other mechanical means. When all else fails, the WaterBoy is a sure and inexpensive way to retrieve water from a drilled well.

We take enormous pride in creating our dependable well buckets (available in 3 sizes, including slim-line for wells with a 4-inch liner) and accessories. We also can create custom orders; call or email to tell us how we can serve you. We look forward to doing business with you.

We also offer tripod kits to use with your WaterBoy well bucket. You need only to add legs to build a sturdy tripod above your drilled well to easily raise and lower your WaterBoy or pull well pumps. See our Catalog Page for details.

 Breakthrough in hand pump sector

grandma_pumping.jpg

There has been a breakthrough in the hand pump sector – a hand pump machine that can pump volumes of water from shallow wells and reach depths far beyond the ability of common hand pumps.

It can also work in tandem with electric pumps. The hand pump machine can be set up over an existing well to supply water for an entire household (bathing, toilet, washing clothes, cooking, watering livestock and gardens). It is ready for emergency use or even off-grid living.  The machine can pressurize the water system just like electric pumps can.  An EMP won't affect this water pump system. No electronics or electricity are needed. See our Hand Pump Machine page for details. And watch the video of a grandmother pumping 5 gallons of water in 1 minute and her daughter pumping 10 gallons in 1 minute with the machine.

The hand pump machine set for our well (80-foot static water level)

My wife and I take turns filling this 55-gallon barrel.  In less than 10 minutes of moderate pumping, the barrel is overflowing, with enough water for our small trees, greenhouses and raised beds.

In another 10 minutes, we have enough fresh well water for a day's needs for drinking, washing dishes and flushing toilets.  How much water does your family need?

Watch us fill the barrel in 10 minutes

We are using a 4-inch cylinder, the same size used in 12-foot diameter windmills.  Using a smaller diameter cylinder, this hand pump machine will reach depths far beyond that of common hand pumps.
